Scouts have the opportunity to earn ALL or part of their way to the 2013 National Jamboree—by using Trails End Popcorn as their fundraiser. The sales materials that you receive are all the tools you need to make it happen. Trails End popcorn is a proven winner in fundraising and if you have never sold it before, please ask how---there are lots of ways. The three most successful ways are take-order, show-n-sell and online sales. We will let you decide what is best for you but a combination is probably best. You will have four opportunities to sell popcorn before the Jamboree. Fall 2011, Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.
You will get a FORTY FIVE PERCENT (ten percent more than the normal sale) commission on your sales credited to your jamboree scout account. Your account is maintained by the council jamboree committee and may be used for your jamboree fee, required uniforms or travel expenses. Jamboree Scouts will collect and turn in 100% of the retail amount due to the Council office and then the office will transfer 45% of his sales to his Jamboree account.
In addition, you can qualify for incentives such as free Water Park of America Passes, $50 gift cards and the Trail’s End Scholarship program. Details on the sales forms.
